In the Summer of 2007, Denton Adams and Kayona Ebony Brown joined forces to create a company with the goal of inspiring, motivating, and evoking provocative thinking through the medium of film. The company would be known as ime films, an acronymic name stemming from the goal of its creators. The objective is to create films with conscientious plots, themes, and characters, while maintaining an entertainment-based foundation.

Together, the creators have a collection of production-ready projects. The catalogue spans the board of popular movie genres, from romantic and family drama, to action-packed sci-fi and mystery. IME films plans to produce at least one feature-length film each year as an independent company until the goal of distribution or a major production partnership is secured. Considering the ever-changing marketplace for technology, IME will continually explore alternative forms of distribution and promotion in order to maximize viewership and build our brand.
